Internal Medicine Ward
The internal medicine ward has:
- 38 approved beds
- 21 internal medicine specialist and subspecialist physicians,
- 6 subspecialists in the fields of pulmonary specialties, rheumatology (2 persons), nephrology and gastroenterology (2 persons), endocrinology (2 persons).
Each year, 4 internal medicine residents are being trained in this ward. During each academic year, the medical, nursing, midwifery and medical emergency students are studying and being trained in this ward. Paraclinical interventions such as bone marrow biopsy, pleural biopsy, intra-articular injection, thyroid biopsy, and ascites, joints and pleural fluid tapping are carried out in this ward.

There is a common classroom with the internal medicine ward, and the internal medicine residents are also active in this ward under the supervision of subspecialist physicians. All paraclinical measures such as bone marrow aspiration and biopsy, intraspinal injections, pleural and ascites biopsy and aspiration, FNA, colonoscopy, endoscopy, bronchoscopy, and rheumatoid arthritis special injections are performed in this ward.
16 main beds and 5 extra beds,
2 subspecialized internal medicine departments, departments of hematology and oncology, 2 oncology specialists and 8 subspecialist physicians (pulmonology, rheumatology, gastroenterology, nephrology and endocrinology).
