Restorative Dentistry Department
Restorative dentistry is the science and art of diagnosis and treatment of dental injuries, including dental caries, dental fractures due to trauma, or the deformation of teeth shape and color in case treatment of these defects does not require complete restoration of all dental crown surfaces.
Therefore, the general objectives of restorative dentistry are as follows:
- Restoration of dental crown or root caries
- Restoration of deformed and discolored teeth
- Replacement of old or defective restorations
